Good Apple Taphouse

Good Apple is a family owned and ran business located at the corner of Locust Grove and McMillan Roads, just east of Maverik convenience store.

Boise natives, Rob and Carmen, decided Meridian needed a neighborhood beer and wine bar where people could hangout and enjoy the company of others, so they opened Good Apple Taphouse, February of 2020.

Idaho and the northwest region has so many great breweries, wineries and cideries.  While we love to travel and check out all of these places we decided the Meridian community needed a means to access these tasty beverages.

It’s easy to find a place to go get a beer or a glass of wine after work. However, at Good Apple Taphouse, we bring you a different experience. Our taphouse is for ages 21 and over only.  This is per Idaho Law based on our business categorization.  We invite people from all over the community to get to know each other better over a pint of beer, cider, glass of wine or canned cocktail.  During Idaho’s many months of great outdoor weather we will have our large patio open and can even light up the fire rock so you can enjoy outdoors a little longer.

If you want to learn more about us or how we operate come visit us.   If you don’t feel like dealing with the ever growing traffic in the valley feel free to walk or ride your bike to our place.  We even have a bike rack for you to secure your ride.

The STAFF

Our staff is our family.  Some through genes and some not.  We love them all!

Rob: Co-Owner/Manager can be found behind the bar pouring beers many days of the week.

Andy: Assistant Manager/Bartender is the eldest of the owners’ sons. He’ll greet you with his bright smile while pouring you a cold one.

Seth: Joined our Good Apple family less than a year after we opened and is a perfect fit in our establishment.

Brendan: the youngest of the owners’ sons, spends his spare time when not at his full time job, bartending at our business and making people laugh.

Carmen: Co-Owner/Admin can be found as a fill in bartender on occasion or handling everything the rest of the staff won’t.
